Based in Molendinar on the Queensland Gold Coast Hybrid Composites was founded by Daniel Williams.

Dan's boat building experience spans a number of high profile projects including a 105' carbon fibre trimaran for the Sultan of Oman built at Boatspeed in Australia, participation in Volvo Ocean Race vo65s. based at Green Marine in Southampton, work for Premier Composites in Dubai, three months in San Francisco helping out with the America's cup build, and more recently was part of the build team for the R42 Trimaran Venom built by Australian Custom Multihull Yachts before starting his own business.

Dan is specialising in lightweight construction using resin infusion.

Yes that's something I'd definitely be interested in.

My factory is in molendinar on the Gold Coast.

As far as a resume, I'll give you a quick brief then type something up a little later. My baby boy is unwell and it's nearly bath time.

I started a boat building apprenticeship in Sydney harbour at Ferguson's marina.

I then finished my apprenticeship with boasted on the Central Coast where we built a 105ft carbon fibre trimaran for the sultan of Oman. I was taken to Oman to help with the assembly of the beams to hulls and final fit out.

I travelled to the UK where I was apart of the Volvo Ocean race vo65s. Based at Green Marine in Southampton.

From there I continued my travels and worked in Dubai for premier composites.

I spent a brief 3 months in San Francisco helping out with the America's cup build.

Upon my return I started my own business and helped out with the buod of tr42 venom.

I run my own business now, Hybrid Composites and are currently building a 32 foot fully carbon infused offshore race boat.
