New Foiler Looks Cool

This looks like some serious good fun. It’s the FlyTri foiling trimaran by Hydrofoil Australia and you can see the prototype getting a workout on Pittwater if you check their youtube channel

It would be interesting to see how FlyTri’s performance stacks up against a Foiling Moth or A Cat. I expect it would be a lot more forgiving to handle than either, but especially the Moth.

Shout out to the crew at Redhead sails who built the sails. They also built the sails for my first ever trimaran all those decades ago.
