How to use the partners network

FOR OUR CUSTOMERS

When you've focused on a design you're interested in you can purchase study plans and use the information in the plans to get indicative prices or a quote for a full build, or for various components from one of the partners listed on this page. If you prefer you can also get another supplier of your choosing. Some of the companies listed here may have quotes already available for some of our designs, others may not. We can supply them with any more information they need on request.

FOR BUILDERS AND SUPPLIERS OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

If you get a request for a quote or an indicative price from one of our customers the customer will be able to supply you with the relevant drawings and specifications you will need if they have purchased study plans. If they don't have the information you need then please contact us. If we have customers seeking quotes for particular projects we will direct them to builders or suppliers who have already quoted that project or who are interested in quoting.

A NOTE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS.

Modern sailboats are complex creations that incorporate many different options and many different ways of doing things. If you need a fixed quote  for a fully finished boat then there is really no short cut to providing your chosen builder with a fully detailed set of plans, not just study plans.

We expect our partners network to greatly simplify things and hopefully get you an indicative price for your project fairly quickly without purchasing a full plans set. In some cases it will also get you a fixed quote, but please don't be disappointed if this is not always the case. It really comes down to how much complexity is involved in your project, whether or not you just want the quote to the completed structure stage, and whether the builder or manufacturer has built that bit or provided that service for that particular boat before.
